Latest Information on St. Patrick's Day Parade

Cancellation Details - March 9th 2020 - in response to COVID-19 outbreak

Dear All,

Shop Malahide are disappointed to confirm to you all that the Malahide Parade is cancelled.  We are gutted for all our participants and volunteers.  The community response and support we got from our local community was quite phenomenal and something we are very proud of.  One consolation for our efforts is that the structure for Malahide to have it's first St Patrick's Day Parade is all set up and will be an even bigger event next year. Áine and Trish would like to pay particular thanks to the 28 groups, 1,100 participants, 35 Volunteers and local shops and businesses that were all set up and ready to make this a day to remember.  We will be back again next year stronger than ever.

Please remember to give all your support to your local businesses in the coming weeks as there is so much uncertainty for us all ahead and we all want Malahide to thrive and continue to be a town we're all very proud of.

Hope to see many of you soon.

Áine McCabe & Trish Murtagh
